Seasonal Assistant Local Manager

About This Role

As an Assistant Local Manager, you will collaborate with the Local Manager to lead, develop, and motivate the local team. This role focuses on achieving personal, professional, and company goals while ensuring exceptional guest experiences at Cherry Hill Programs' retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain core values and policies
• Assist Local Manager with preparations for opening day, including hiring, inventories, equipment setup, scheduling, and training
• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs
• Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery
• Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed
• Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training, and recruiting

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling
• Professional attire and good hygiene
• Available to attend mandatory pre-season training
• Flexibility and willingness to work during “peak” retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform easy, guided choreographed movement independently

Qualifications

• Previous retail/assistant manager experience preferred.
