Seasonal Assistant Local Manager

About This Role

Lead, develop, and motivate a local team to capture memorable moments for customers in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring high-quality experiences and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment and uphold core values and policies
• Assist Local Manager with preparations for opening day, including hiring, inventory, equipment setup, scheduling, and training
• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs
• Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery
• Lead by example and reinforce established policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate when necessary
• Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training, and recruiting

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Team player who can work independently
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use good judgment and make strong, independent decisions
• Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling
• Professional attire and good hygiene
• Available to attend mandatory pre-season training
• Flexibility and willingness to work during peak retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform easy, guided choreographed movement independently

Nice to Have

• Previous retail/assistant manager experience
• Photography experience
