About This Role

Lead, develop, and motivate a local team to achieve company goals, assist with preparations for opening day, and ensure optimal guest experiences by taking photos and resolving customer concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain core values and policies
  • Assist Local Manager with preparations for opening day, including hiring completion, inventories, equipment setup/testing, staff scheduling and training
  • Learn proper opening/closing procedures
  • Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery
  • Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed
  • Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training and/or recruiting

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Team player who can work independently and understands leadership
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use good judgment and make strong, independent decisions
  • Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling
  • Professional attire and good hygiene
  • Available to attend mandatory pre-season training
  • Flexibility and willingness to work during “peak” retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform easy, guided choreographed movement independently

Qualifications

  • Previous retail/assistant manager experience preferred. At least 18 years of age.
