Seafood Team Leader

About This Role

Lead and manage the Seafood team, ensuring high operating performance and providing guidance to team members and guests. Oversee training, development, and scheduling to foster a productive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select and train Team Members
• Direct the work of Team Members
• Appraise Team Members' productivity and efficiency for promotions or status changes
• Handle Team Member issues including complaints and discipline
• Plan, distribute, and assign work among Team Members
• Provide for the safety and security of Team Members and the store
• Manage the budget and inventory for the department or location
• Monitor or implement compliance measures
• Provide motivational leadership and set an exemplary example
• Identify strengths and opportunities of the team, and make strategic scheduling decisions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food Safety Certification
• At least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation

Nice to Have

• Retail leadership or supervisory experience
• Successful performance as a Peer Trainer, in-store champion, or similar role
• Demonstrated product knowledge relevant to department
