Scrum Master

About This Role

This Scrum Master role supports agile delivery teams by facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, and promoting continuous improvement. The position works across cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Serve as a servant leader and coach to one or more agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, escalating when necessary
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team reflection and experimentation
• Track and communicate key agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to stakeholders
• Support the team in achieving delivery commitments and maintaining a sustainable pace
• Foster strong collaboration between business and technical teams, including Salesforce and FileMaker stakeholders when applicable
• Partner with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share best practices and align on agile maturity goals

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development or digital product environment
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification
• Experience working with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or similar
• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and across multiple time zones

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development or digital product environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Salesforce or FileMaker platforms
• Experience supporting agile transformation or scaling agile practices across teams
• Background in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments
