SCAN Caregiver

About This Role

Deliver exceptional in-home care to seniors in the San Jose area, assisting with daily tasks and personal needs to help them maintain a high quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients in their home
• Complete all daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
• Assist with personal care activities including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care
• Perform light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation
• Document completion of tasks and report changes in client's physical condition, mental capability, or behavior

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience working experience as a Caregiver
• Home Care Aide Registration
• Driver's license, social security card, and state ID
• Reliable transportation and valid car insurance
• Experience providing personal care to seniors
• Experience with Hoyer lift
• Experience with gait belt
• Ability to pass extensive background check
• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working experience as a Caregiver
