About This Role

Join our team as an In-Home Caregiver, providing essential assistance, companionship, and emotional support to individuals in their homes. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Monitor and report changes in the client's health or behavior

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role
• Familiarity with assisting seniors in activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring attitude and the patience to work with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations
