This role is for a Salesforce Product Manager who will capture functional user stories, manage the product backlog, and drive the Salesforce Platform's evolution. The position involves collaborating with internal teams, gathering requirements for enhancements, and playing a key role in growth strategy discussions.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and understand business priorities for Salesforce applications
- Own and manage the Salesforce Platform roadmap and feature prioritization
- Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases
- Establish KPI metrics for project success measures
- Design and recommend functional solutions using best practices
- Develop medium-term roadmaps in collaboration with users and senior management
- Develop cross-functional relationships to prioritize new features based on business impact
- Gather user and market data through various methods
- Build custom reports to support product decisions in Salesforce
- Capture business requirements, translate them into system requirements, and prioritize for architects & developers
- Ensure requirements evolve into user documentation alongside feature releases
- Drive adoption of new features by working with QA engineers and organizing user acceptance testing
- Ensure data interfaces between all teams are fully documented and agreed upon
- Provide support to business users by generating ad-hoc reports, investigating data flow issues, and researching suggested improvements
Requirements
- Excellent writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Basic understanding of SaaS platforms and technology systems
- Experience as a SCRUM master or certified agile coach
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle
- 2+ years of related experience working in financial services/technology in business process improvement/engineering/project or product management
- Product Management, Project Management, Business Analysis experience
- Experience working with systems developers in external vendor organization, preferably in an agile environment
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to gather, analyze, and present data to different audiences
- Ability to understand a process at a high level, while still drilling into details
- Thorough understanding of process mapping, data collection, data analysis, procedure writing, and writing effective requirements documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of related experience working in financial services/technology in business process improvement/engineering/project or product management.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service and / or Financial Services Cloud
- Experience with databases and writing simple SQL queries
- Additional QA certifications or training
