This role leads the firm's sales technology training program, focusing on enabling lawyers and professionals to leverage tools like Salesforce for strategic growth. The manager will design and deliver training to improve business development capabilities and technology adoption, ensuring alignment with firmwide strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, role-specific technology training programs, onboarding sessions, and one-on-one training
- Translate Salesforce CRM capabilities into practical benefits for lawyers by demonstrating how data and tools support client development
- Partner with the Salesforce Administrator to share user feedback, recommend enhancements, and align training initiatives with system updates
- Collaborate with the Commercial Excellence team to integrate technology-enabled sales coaching into training programs
- Engage with firm leadership and practice group leaders to identify training needs and skill gaps
- Build user-friendly training materials (guides, tutorials, and videos) tailored to different audiences
- Manage the firm’s Salesforce LMS pages, including strategy, content development, and ongoing updates
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Salesforce users, helping them embed CRM and business intelligence practices
- Measure and optimize training impact by tracking engagement, adoption metrics, and business outcomes
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in sales training, business development coaching, or client relationship management
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM, with the ability to explain its value in a non-technical, client-centric way
- Experience designing and facilitating training programs for professionals with varied levels of business development experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
- Collaborative, consultative approach to working with senior leadership and partners
- Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications in training and business development preferred
- At least seven (7) years of experience in sales training, business development coaching, or client relationship management, preferably in professional services.
