About This Role

The Sales Support Specialist I at Vitalant is essential for supporting donor recruitment and blood drive coordination. This role focuses on engaging blood drive coordinators and assisting with donor recruitment efforts to maximize participation, especially with first-time donors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support virtual and onsite blood drives in alignment with enterprise goals
• Engage blood drive coordinators to increase donor participation and retention
• Assist with donor recruitment initiatives, including outreach to first-time donors
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity using established systems
• Support special projects and assist with training and onboarding of new and existing staff
• Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, external regulations, and software usage standards
• Collaborate with field teams and cross-functional partners to support operational success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Valid in-state driver's license

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
