Sales Professional - Inside Sales

About This Role

Serve client families by making at-need and pre-need cemetery arrangements, providing personalized service to generate revenue and act as the primary family contact.

Responsibilities

• Prospect a minimum of 1-2 hours each day for lead generation
• Obtain referrals from families served by the location
• Network and build community and civic relationships
• Explain and present arrangements to families served and referred families
• Maintain and track activity levels to ensure productivity
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely, respectful, sensitive, and professional manner
• Connect with families through listening, honest communication, and genuine concern
• Develop an understanding of each family’s unique needs and offer valuable solutions
• Stay in touch with families to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with funeral directors and other staff to provide seamless, high-quality service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of college or equivalent education and experience
• Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
• Ability to drive frequently
• Ability to treat others with empathy and respect
• Knowledge of computers and some software
• Customer service skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred
