Sales Professional - Outside Sales

About This Role

Achieve sales quotas by selling pre-need arrangements and services to client families in the field or from home. Generate leads through networking and community relationships, while providing professional and caring service to families.

Responsibilities

• Consistently network and build relationships to generate referrals for at-need cemetery arrangements and pre-need arrangements.
• Prospect a minimum of 4 hours daily, including approaching families face-to-face, door knocking, or group seminars.
• Obtain referrals from families served by the location through follow-up visits after services.
• Network and build community and civic relationships.
• Explain and present Dignity Memorial® Personal Planning Guide presentations to families.
• Maintain and track activity levels to ensure productivity.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships by connecting with families, resolving concerns, and committing to follow through.
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely, respectful, sensitive, and professional manner.
• Prepare for all appointments and perform procedures with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Consistently build relationships and work cooperatively with Funeral Directors and other funeral home/cemetery staff.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent, 1-2 years of college or equivalent experience
• Sales experience or one to two years industry experience or equivalent education

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Bilingual, knowledge of another language
