The Sales Intern will provide support to the sales and business development teams, increasing productivity and efficiency while gaining hands-on exposure to automotive sales operations. This role focuses on maintaining a customer-friendly environment during peak business periods.
Responsibilities
- Provide overflow support on the sales floor by greeting customers, assisting sales consultants, and helping manage customer flow
- Assist with overflow vehicle appraisals, including gathering vehicle information and supporting management or appraisal staff
- Support the Business Development Center (BDC) with inbound and outbound calls, appointment confirmations, and customer follow-up
- Cover reception duties as needed, including answering phones, directing calls, and greeting showroom guests
- Perform lot maintenance duties, including organizing vehicles, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with vehicle movement, and ensuring the lot is presentable for customers
- Maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming dealership environment
- Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
