About This Role

This Sales Executive role is for a driven, food-passionate professional to build client relationships, grow accounts, develop new business, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment for Baldor Specialty Foods. You will partner with chefs to introduce them to high-quality ingredients and expand new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales by developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing accounts
  • Go into market every week to connect with chefs, caterers, hotels, and retail partners to build or acquire business
  • Present Baldor’s premium product line using samples, catalogs, and consultative selling techniques
  • Prepare contracts, quote prices, and manage credit terms to close deals effectively
  • Provide accurate timelines for delivery, manage customer expectations, and ensure timely payment collections
  • Maintain organized records of business transactions, update CRM systems, and track account receivables
  • Partner with inside sales representatives to coordinate account activities and customer support
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  • Represent Baldor’s values while fostering long-term partnerships rooted in trust

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven success in sales
  • Genuine love for food and the culinary industry
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated to learn, ask questions, and thrive independently
  • Able to foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that motivates others
  • Comfortable using metrics to monitor progress and drive decisions
  • Brings urgency and focus to achieving results under tight deadlines
  • Reliable transportation for customer visits

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of proven success in sales (food sales, restaurant, or catering preferred)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with consultative/solution-oriented sales
  • Prior experience as a chef
