Sales Associate - Outside Lawn & Garden

About This Role

As a Customer Service Associate, you will provide excellent customer service to customers shopping at Lowe's. This role involves assisting customers in finding products, answering questions, and helping resolve home improvement challenges.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Replenish shelves by down stocking merchandise
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to enhance customer service
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe, cut wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 Months Experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
• Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
• Ability to minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in a trade related to a department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
