About This Role

This is a 12-month nurse residency program designed to transition new graduate nurses into professional practice through education, mentorship, and peer support. Residents will develop clinical judgment and communication skills and gain experience in various clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
Function within the framework of organizational policies and procedures
Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
Maintain standards of practice
Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care

Requirements

Graduate of a nursing program
Current Georgia RN license
BLS certification

Qualifications

Graduate of a nursing program
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
