About This Role

Deliver quality nursing care to patients by providing interpersonal contact and evaluating patient needs, ensuring the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact
• Provide care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being
• Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment
• Revise care plans based on changes in the patient’s condition
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs
• Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
• CPR certification must remain current during employment

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
• Entry level, one year skilled nursing experience preferred

Nice to Have

• One (1) year skilled nursing experience
