As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients according to laws, regulations, and company standards, contributing to the overall quality of patient care. This role is essential for helping patients reach their maximum potential through direct care like bathing, feeding, and grooming.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
- Deliver direct patient care (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
- Currently registered/licensed as a CNA in applicable State
- Active CNA license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation, must remain current
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred, but entry level is accepted
