About This Role

This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role involves providing direct patient care by assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort within a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights promptly
• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Serve and collect food trays and assist residents requiring help with feeding
• Transport residents using wheelchairs or wheeled carts, or assist residents with walking
• Turn and re-position residents, alone or with assistance
• Take and record vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed
• Complete necessary documentation

Requirements

• Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Employment
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to work well in a team setting
