This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role involves providing direct patient care by assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort within a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Answer signal lights promptly
- Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Serve and collect food trays and assist residents requiring help with feeding
- Transport residents using wheelchairs or wheeled carts, or assist residents with walking
- Turn and re-position residents, alone or with assistance
- Take and record vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed
- Complete necessary documentation
Requirements
- Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Employment
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to work well in a team setting
