About This Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at CarDon and Associates, you will provide high-quality care to residents by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role involves working closely with nursing staff, monitoring patient health, and reporting any changes in condition to enhance the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
  • Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding resident needs and changes

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or acceptable verification from State Nurse Assistant Registry
  • No finding in the Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
