As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at CarDon and Associates, you will provide high-quality care to residents by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role involves working closely with nursing staff, monitoring patient health, and reporting any changes in condition to enhance the quality of life for residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
- Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding resident needs and changes
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or acceptable verification from State Nurse Assistant Registry
- No finding in the Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
