About This Role

The Staff Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability, and is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Function within the framework of organizational policies and procedures
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
• Maintain standards of practice
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BCLS - Basic Life Support

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program
• No experience required for new graduates; 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions.

Nice to Have

• Bachelors Degree

• Advanced certification in field of specialty
