About This Role

This role involves leading patient care through the nursing process, effectively delegating tasks to team members, and ensuring quality patient outcomes in accordance with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient, family, and other groups
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly
• Serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team
• Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes
• Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale
• Adapt behavior to specific patient population needs, including privacy and communication style

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
