RN - Med/Surg/Tele

About This Role

Serve as a Registered Nurse in Med/Surg/Tele, utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code. Delegate, direct, and assist team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes and demonstrating sensitivity to diversity.

Responsibilities

• Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient, family, and group needs
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly
• Serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team
• Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes
• Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale
• Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication style

Requirements

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to be self-directed
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
