About This Role

This role involves acting as a leader in patient care, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards. The individual will delegate tasks, direct team members, and ensure quality patient outcomes while demonstrating professional responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient, family, and group needs
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources properly
• Serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team
• Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes
• Embrace concepts and behaviors enhancing customer satisfaction and employee morale
• Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and communication styles
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to be self-directed
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement
• Good interpersonal skills
