About This Role

Serve as a full-time Registered Nurse for Goodwin Home Health, providing high-quality skilled Home Health nursing services to seniors in their homes across Northern Virginia. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, plan of care development, direct nursing care, and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete OASIS documentation
• Perform detailed assessments resulting in patient-specific Plan of Care development
• Provide direct nursing care in a Home Health setting under physician’s orders
• Communicate with team members regarding the Plan of Care for optimal outcomes
• Effectively communicate with referring physicians and provide accurate treatment notes and documentation
• Prepare for patient discharge planning, informing and preparing the patient, team members, and physician

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license by the state board of nursing
• At least one-year acute care experience
• Current CPR certification
• Driver's license
• Proof of automobile insurance
• Readily available, reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• At least one-year acute care experience
