RN - Hematology & Oncology Clinic

About This Role

This role is for a Registered Nurse who will lead patient care utilizing the nursing process within the framework of professional nursing standards. The RN will delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes in a Hematology & Oncology Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient needs
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources properly
• Serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team
• Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes
• Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale
• Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and communication styles
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Registered nursing diploma
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to be self directed and demonstrate good judgement
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Leadership skills
