About This Role

The Staff Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care for patients across their lifespan, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role operates within organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability while coordinating patient care activities to ensure quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate their care
• Function within the framework of organizational policies and procedures
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
• Maintain standards of practice
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BCLS - Basic Life Support
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting for PRN positions

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program
• No experience required for new graduates of a nursing program. 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree
