This registered nurse position delivers patient care using the nursing process within the framework of relevant acts, codes, and standards. The RN will effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members, while ensuring quality patient outcomes and maintaining sensitivity to diversity.
Responsibilities
- Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
- Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient, family, and group needs.
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly.
- Serve as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction, employee morale, and improvement in the nursing profession.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
