About This Role

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifecycle in a behavioral health inpatient setting, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The staff nurse ensures adherence to organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability while coordinating patient care activities to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
• Maintain standards of practice
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BCLS Certification
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting (for PRN positions)

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program Required
• No experience required for new graduates, 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions

Nice to Have

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
