About This Role

This role involves maintaining transient room inventory for hotels and maximizing transient revenue. The Revenue Manager will release group rooms, maintain booking windows, and recommend pricing strategies for cluster properties to achieve revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the transient rooms inventory for hotel(s)
• Maximize transient revenue
• Release group rooms back into general inventory
• Maintain clean booking windows for customers
• Recommend pricing and positioning of cluster properties
• Oversee the inventory management system to verify appropriateness of agreed upon selling strategies
• Compile information, analyze and monitor actual sales against projected sales
• Identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Conduct sales strategy analysis and refine as appropriate to increase market share for all properties

Requirements

• 2-year degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years experience OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 1 year experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major OR 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
• 3 years experience with an associate's degree in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area OR 1 year experience with a bachelor's degree in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
