About This Role

This role involves providing exceptional customer service in an automotive retail environment, assisting customers with parts selection and advice, and contributing to overall store operations and sales goals. You will play a key role in delivering "WOW! Customer Service" and fostering a positive retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment
• Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management
• Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Follow company safety policies and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to maintain a secure work environment
• Stay up-to-date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise
• Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Nice to Have

• Exceptional communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Previous experience in automotive retail
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
