Retail Pharmacist

About This Role

Process prescription orders, monitor patient drug therapies, and provide drug information and education as a Retail Pharmacist at Cox Medical Center Branson. Supervise and direct support personnel while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders for outpatients
• Monitor patient drug therapies
• Provide drug information and patient education
• Supervise and direct support personnel
• Assume essential responsibilities and perform duties of the pharmacy manager in their absence

Requirements

• Bachelors in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited school
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
• Licensed by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist or eligible for licensure and obtains licensure within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
• No Prior Experience Required; Post-graduate Pharmacy Residency Training preferred or 2 years healthcare setting/equivalent residency training preferred
