As a Retail Merchandiser Team Lead, you will provide in-store merchandising support to retailers, ensuring products are displayed effectively and inventory is managed to maximize sales. You will also support leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.
Responsibilities
- Build displays and end caps in retail stores
- Reset shelves with product rotation
- Track inventory to ensure stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities
- Support leadership with reporting, training, and scheduling
- Onboard new hires
- Interact with customers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
- Record work after each shift using a smartphone or tablet
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Work independently and cultivate successful team building skills
Requirements
- 1-2 years of merchandising experience
- Experience leading and training people
- Comfortable interacting with customers and management
- 18 years or older
- Ability to perform physical work, including moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Ability to use a smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
- Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
- Ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of merchandising experience and experience leading and training people
