This Electrical Engineer III role involves independently performing intermediate electrical design tasks, preparing design documents, and coordinating with project partners for building systems in the Retail Sector. The position focuses on technical excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction while potentially mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate-level calculations and design with minimal supervision
- Prepare and modify plans, reports, and technical documents
- Review shop drawings for compliance
- Guide junior designers and provide technical support
- Participate in business development and client coordination
- Support limited project management and coordination tasks
- Maintain current knowledge of codes, standards, and design tools
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and design principles
- MEP/Construction Industry experience
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards
- High technical aptitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and engineering design software
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
- FE and PE completion preferred
