Electrical Designers & Engineers - Senior & Lead Levels

About This Role

This role involves guiding complex electrical engineering efforts, providing advanced technical expertise, leading discipline teams, and overseeing project quality. The position requires mentoring engineers and contributing to practice-level strategy and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for complex or large-scale projects
• Direct or oversee the preparation of design documents, system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Develop solutions to advanced and highly complex engineering problems, providing discipline-wide technical guidance
• Serve as a mentor and coach across teams and practices, including supervising less experienced designers and engineers
• Participate in or lead staffing recommendations, training initiatives, and technical strategy development
• Provide quality oversight, including conducting and/or issuing final quality reviews to ensure compliance with standards and best practices
• Communicate with clients, resolve conflicts, and provide leadership in responding to technical questions or design challenges
• Lead or support strategic business development efforts and maintain key client and partner relationships
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned, ensuring technical accuracy, accountability, and adherence to professional standards

• Advanced to expert proficiency in electrical engineering design
• Proficiency in applicable codes and standards
• Proficiency in Revit
• Proficiency in Bluebeam
• Proficiency in construction processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead discipline coordination
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex or large-scale project scopes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural)
• 10+ years of relevant experience
