About This Role

This Retail Associate role focuses on providing an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and ensuring operational excellence within a cannabis dispensary. The Associate will handle all retail tasks from customer intake to POS transactions and maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional cannabis product knowledge and provide guidance to customers for a positive experience
• Perform all retail tasks and responsibilities including customer intake, sales, inventory, and POS transactions
• Check IDs, update customer profiles, and perform sales transactions accurately
• Assist with opening and closing the store, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and stock levels
• Ensure operational excellence by following SOPs, compliance regulations, and established internal processes
• Support the store and team success by performing additional duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 1+ years of retail or customer service experience
• Experience with cash handling and Point-of-Sales systems
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to deescalate and resolve customer concerns
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with others and contribute to a positive work environment
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
