Retail Associate

About This Role

Serve as a Retail Associate for a LEGO buy, sell, and trade store, assisting customers, preparing products, and improving store operations. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service and engaging with a passion for LEGO and pop culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist with events, marketing initiatives, and social media campaigns
• Prepare products for display and support customer trade-in and selling activities
• Deliver outstanding customer service by helping guests of all ages explore the store and discover products of interest
• Contribute to a store atmosphere that balances a fun, casual environment with professionalism
• Ensure the store environment is safe, organized, and welcoming for all customers
• Prioritize essential tasks with efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to direction when not assisting customers
• Support management in a variety of store operations, including merchandising, inventory, promotions, and marketing campaigns
• Collaborate proactively and positively with supervisors and team members to achieve store goals
• Build and repair used LEGO sets
• Break down and certify LEGO sets
• Sort and clean bulk LEGO
• Organize and stock minifigures and sets (new and used)
• Greet customers and assist them at checkout

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of 3 years experience in customer service and retail sales, with proven ability to connect with people and drive sales
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Intermediate LEGO® building skills
• Solid knowledge of pop culture (e.g., Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel, Star Wars)
• Ability to work independently on a variety of changing projects
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Friendly, outgoing personality with integrity and accountability
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable engaging with new people
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay organized in a busy retail environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Physically able to lift and move heavy containers upwards of 50 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods of time

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in customer service and retail sales
