About This Role

This role is for a Respiratory Therapist who will provide compassionate and excellent respiratory care to chronic, critically ill patients in a critical illness recovery hospital. The RT will evaluate patients, recommend treatment plans, and perform key respiratory procedures.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans
Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
Promote continuous quality improvement
Teach and counsel patients and families

Requirements

Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent
Proof of graduation (college transcript/diploma preferred or high school/GED)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
Current state licensure
ACLS within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire)
