About This Role

Initiate and perform all phases of neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care within Michigan Medicine, contributing to the health of patients and communities.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and perform all phases of neonatal, pediatric and adult respiratory care

Requirements

• Graduation from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program
• Minimum Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience
• Current license in respiratory therapy by the state of Michigan
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• College graduate with a degree in Respiratory Therapy (for Graduate level)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 90 days of hire (for Graduate level)
• Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist by Michigan Department of Community Health within 90 days of hire (for Graduate level)

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program, minimum Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education of experience

Nice to Have

• Previous pediatric or neonatal intensive care experience
• Registration (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
