Provide direct support to individuals with psychiatric conditions in a residential setting, fostering independence and improving quality of life. Collaborate with an integrated team to implement recovery-oriented treatment plans and manage medication.
Responsibilities
- Orient new individuals to the residence
- Collaborate with Integrated Team members to address needs of individuals served
- Implement treatment plan interventions as directed by the Team LPHA Clinician
- Perform day-to-day assignments as directed by the Program Director
- Use recovery-oriented, person-centered, harm-reduction, trauma-informed, culturally competent and strengths-based approaches
- Store, administer, document, and dispose of medication consistent with Medication Administration Program (MAP) requirements
- Create opportunities for individuals to participate in residence operation, including meal preparation and maintenance
- Encourage social interaction and create a collaborative environment
- Assist individuals with meal preparation
- Act as an advocate for individuals served
- Complete all required documentation
- Help individuals use crisis intervention techniques and access on-call back up when needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid US driver's license for at least six months
- Ability to pass a driver's screening background check
- At least 21 years of age
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s degree in a human service discipline preferred.
- One to two years of job-specific experience in human services field preferred.
