As a Relationship Banker at Chase, you will build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients, providing financial solutions and guidance while representing the brand with hospitality and utilizing cutting-edge banking technology.
Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment for clients
- Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them to build lasting relationships
- Understand financial needs and tailor product and service recommendations
- Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to build trust with clients
- Educate and connect clients to technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs
- Learn products, services, and procedures quickly to consult with clients effectively
- Collaborate with and connect clients to team experts for specialized financial needs
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
Requirements
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success
- Ability to create memorable client experiences
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail
- Ability to operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries
Nice to Have
- College degree or military equivalent
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
