Relationship Banker

About This Role

As a Relationship Banker at Chase, you will build and maintain meaningful client relationships by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored banking solutions. You will represent the brand and culture by providing exceptional hospitality and leveraging financial knowledge and technology.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize client satisfaction and exceed their expectations by providing attentive and friendly service
• Manage assigned clients and proactively engage with them (in-person and over the phone) to cultivate lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and recommend suitable products and services
• Communicate clearly and consultatively to understand and assist clients, building trust and anticipating their needs
• Educate clients on technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs for convenient banking
• Quickly learn products, services, and procedures to effectively advise clients on banking solutions and connect them with specialized experts
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements

Requirements

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries
• Ability to create memorable client experiences
• Excellent communication skills (in-person and over the phone)
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail
• Ability to operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
• Ability to obtain SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration, and Life licenses within 180 days of hire
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
