As a Relationship Banker at Chase, you will build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, offering tailored financial solutions, and educating them on banking technology to meet their needs. You will represent the brand with hospitality and contribute to the branch's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Put clients first and exceed their expectations by delivering attentive service and creating a welcoming environment
- Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them in person and over the phone to build lasting relationships
- Understand client financial needs and tailor product and service recommendations
- Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust
- Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs
- Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients
- Collaborate with and connect clients to a team of experts for specialized financial needs
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
Requirements
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services
- Proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- Ability to create memorable client experiences
- Excellent communication skills (in person and over the phone)
- Ability to tailor product features/benefits to diverse client needs
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail
- Ability to operate within established risk parameters/tolerances
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Ability to obtain SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
