As a Relationship Banker at Chase, you will build and maintain meaningful client relationships by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored banking solutions with a focus on exceptional service and financial technology.
Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive and friendly service to exceed client expectations and create a welcoming environment
- Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product/service recommendations
- Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust
- Educate and connect clients to technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App and Chase.com for banking needs
- Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult clients about banking solutions
- Collaborate with and connect clients to our team of experts for specialized financial needs
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
Requirements
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries
- Proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- Ability to create memorable client experiences
- Excellent communication skills (in person and over the phone)
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail
- Ability to operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Ability to obtain SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses within 180 days of hire
Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
Nice to Have
- College degree or military equivalent
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
