Relationship Banker

About This Role

This Relationship Banker role combines teller duties with comprehensive customer service, assisting clients with financial transactions, new accounts, and account maintenance while promoting the bank's products and services.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional service to build lasting relationships
• Identify customer needs and offer solutions through the bank’s products and services
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service and proactive outreach
• Resolve customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and assist customers in understanding various offerings
• Open and manage a variety of accounts, assisting with maintenance tasks like updating information and processing transfers
• Provide assistance for online banking services and digital banking tools
• Refer clients with credit needs to the appropriate banker or line of business
• Process transactions with a high degree of accuracy and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining confidentiality and monitoring for fraud

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Previous banking and/or sales experience
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic math and accounting functions
• Ability to accurately count money
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
