The Relationship Banker at Bank of America is responsible for engaging clients in the lobby to educate and assist with self-service transactions. This role involves processing cash transactions and having deep conversations with clients to understand their financial priorities and connect them with suitable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute the bank's risk culture and strive for operational excellence
- Build relationships with clients to meet financial needs
- Follow established processes and guidelines, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations
- Grow business knowledge and network by partnering with experts in small business, lending, and investments
- Manage financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls effectively
- Drive the client experience
- Manage cash responsibilities
Requirements
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results
- Ability to collaborate effectively, building and nurturing strong relationships
- Passion, commitment, and drive to deliver a positive client experience
- Confidence in identifying solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs
- Effective and confident communication skills, comfortable engaging all clients
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
- Confidence in educating clients on self-service banking technologies
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow established processes and guidelines, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products and solutions
- One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals
- Six months of cash handling experience
- Bachelor’s degree or business relevant associate degree such as business management, business administration, or finance
