Registration Specialist

About This Role

The Registration Specialist provides customer-focused registration and student support services for Workforce Development and Continuing Education programs at Johnson County Community College. This role serves as the primary point of contact for registration inquiries, assists students with enrollment, and maintains accurate student records.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for registration-related inquiries
• Support students with course registration, withdrawals, transfers, and canceled courses
• Manage and respond to emails and live chat questions
• Maintain detailed knowledge of courses, certificates, funding sources, discounts, and promotions
• Ensure JCCC policies are followed for student registration and records management
• Enter and maintain accurate student and registration data
• Run daily reports to verify accuracy and completeness of student records
• Ensure student information is secure and handled appropriately
• Process student payments accurately
• Enter and reconcile revenue to ensure daily financial balance
• Perform ongoing process improvement and recommend workflow efficiencies
• Learn and utilize features of newly upgraded registration software

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3+ years of related experience
