Registered Nurse - Wound Care

About This Role

The Wound Care Registered Nurse delivers excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team at Nazareth Hospital, providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This role involves facilitating all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, including developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan
• Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to their expertise
• Function as a member of the Care Team and Support Team to accomplish patient outcomes
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame
• Provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program approved
• Current Registered Nurse license by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or Compact State
• Minimum of BLS certification

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program approved; BSN preferred
• Prior relevant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
