The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This role develops patient care plans, communicates changes in clinical condition, and participates in discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation
- Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff
- Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers
- Participate in the discharge planning process
- Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention and serve as a patient-care innovator
- Shape exceptional patient journeys and leverage skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- CPR/BCLS certification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
Nice to Have
- ACLS certification
- CCRN certification
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting
