Join ChristianaCare as an experienced Registered Nurse on a 35-bed medical telemetry unit specializing in stroke overflow. This role involves providing patient care on a day shift, collaborating with a supportive team, and engaging in continuous learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a 35-bed medical telemetry inpatient unit (5D)
- Work with stroke overflow patients, as well as a variety of other diagnoses and ages
- Collaborate with Christiana Care Hospitalist Partners (CCHP) by cohorting their patients
- Work 36 hours per week on a day shift (typically 7a - 7p)
- Fulfill weekend and holiday requirements per department guidelines
Requirements
- Current Delaware RN license or eligibility for Delaware RN license
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- 1-2 years med/surg experience preferred
Nice to Have
- BSN degree (with commitment to obtain within three years if not already held)
- 1-2 years med/surg experience
- Telemetry experience
- Excellent partnership skills within and across disciplines
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
